This morning we spoke to Liz about her message (below) about coho-US fundraising by selling donated items. We decided to share a bit about what we talked about. Becca is planning to make a quilted wall hanging to be in the silent auction at the conference or online. I'll post a link to an image of it when it's ready. But the more exciting idea is a "friendship quilt" to be made cooperatively in the next year or two. The basic idea is to have quilters from various communities and groups making a "square" that would be assembled into a quilt maybe to be raffled related to the next conference. Here is an image of a Friends (TV show) Friendship quilt: https://groveblankets.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/friends-quilt-blanket-01748.jpg Imagine each square being cohousing related. Any quilters out there that would like to talk about the idea or make a square? Contact Becca Brackett ecbrackett [at] cohousing.org Other ideas?
