Lol Virgil, my thoughts exactly, I had to check to make sure this was
Durham, NC we were talking about but sadly this is the new norm. I’m from
North Carolina but now reside in Seattle, WA. When I first moved to Seattle
I was shocked at the housing prices here but because it’s a big city and
international hub I knew it was closer to normal. Sadly, I’ve seen prices
in North Carolina take a big leap in prices since the pandemic. Housing of
any type, including rent and subsidized housing have taken a leap. Even
mobile home prices. And if you can’t buy a nice affordable home in North
Carolina, where can you? All that to see, we are living in truly unstable
times.
