Hi Julie, I have heard about this in other communities, kind of an "associate
membership." I seem to remember that the Berkeley, CA community (not sure what
the name is) had something like this. (as a former reporter at The Olympian in
the '90s, I remember writing about the co-housing community there in the
planning stages to build their community).

Good luck.

Subject: [C-L]_ Looking for examples of guidelines for neighbors to become coho
member

Hello cohos

I'm a neighbor opposite the Woodard cohousing community in Olympia, WA. I have
been part of their meal plan for 2 years and frequently get invited to the
bookclub and other events. We are jjust starting a discussion to explore other
ways I could contribute to the community and share my resources.

I'm looking for contacts in co-housing communities who may have already created
some guidelines for neighbors to become coho members.

THANK YOU!

Julie Ratner
