Cohousing-L Mailing List: Information desired for partnering with Habitat for Humanity

We are a cohousing development 
(www.kawarthacommons.ca<http://www.kawarthacommons.ca>) ready to design and 
build. We are considering partnering with our local Habitat for Humanity (HfH) 
to include some living units for lower-income households. It would be a "shared 
equity" model where HfH holds a second mortgage and the unit buyer pays nothing 
on the second mortgage until the unit sells, when HfH gets a proportional share 
of the selling price.

Please reply if you have experience with such an arrangement and are willing to 
share it.
