Hi John,

I called Stan. He's great! Sadly, we do not qualify for the 179D program
because the buildings have to be four stories or greater and ours are all
single-story buildings. But we're eligible for the 45L tax credit, which will
get us $2,500 per unit. He's going to send us a proposal and we'll probably
move forward with it.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Katie

Investors at Bay State Cohousing LLC (BSC LLC) all received our share of an
energy efficient construction tax credit of $3,000 credit per unit for tax year
2022 (the year we received our certificate of occupancy and bought our units
from the development company). It was a 179D. We used a consultant to help
with the documentation and I highly recommend them.
