Our intentional townhome community, Lake Claire Co-housing, has a 3 bed 1.5
bath house for sale, asking price is now $435k. Over 1300 sq ft (Zillow has
incorrect sq footage). If you like the idea of having a village in which to
raise your kids, check us out! We have the privacy of our own 13 homes,
plus shared courtyards and a shared clubhouse (which we own collectively),
where we check our mail, gather twice a week for shared (optional) meals,
and host private events like birthday parties and dinner parties.


Ideally, each adult donates 7 work hours per month cooking, cleaning,
landscaping, gardening, or doing some other chore/contribution. (The
neighbors here are understanding if this isn't always possible.) We have
business meetings once a month and make decisions collectively, by
consensus.


We're across the cul-de-sac from the Lake Claire Land Trust, which has
community garden plots managed by one of our residents, a huge sand play
area, amphitheater, wooded area, a pond with ducks and turtles, etc.
Candler Park restaurants and Lake Claire playground are a 10 minute walk in
either direction. We are in the Mary Lin / Howard / Midtown school district.


Those of us who live here are super motivated to help find an awesome buyer
who truly loves the idea of participating in our community, so if you're
serious about putting in an offer you will get the chance to first meet
all/most of us, join us for a meal, etc.
