I invented my own way to do hybrid zoom/in-person meetings.
We have a large meeting room, so everyone speaks into a microphone. We have
a 4-mic wireless system.
The mics feed into a speaker to fill the room.
A laptop near the speaker is the Zoom audio in/out device. Sound from the
speaker goes into the laptop's mic, so that people on Zoom can hear people
in the room.
There should normally be only one device with mic or speaker on, in the
room, or you will have audio problems.
Output from the same laptop goes to a second speaker, so that people in the
room can hear people on Zoom.
I wear an ear plug in one ear, because I'm at the laptop, and I'm too close
to the first speaker.
Other laptops or phones can be used as cameras only.
I use an external camera on the laptop, which can be aimed at others in the
room.
Stereo systems or TV sound bars can be used as the speakers.

I am happy to discuss this.
