We have a suggested donation of $50/night for each of our guest rooms, but that suggested donation does not apply to community members or their friends and family. No donation is expected for them, but often one is made. The rationale is that community members are already paying for the guest rooms via our HOA dues. The common house is in essence an extension of our own homes. -- Mac Thomson Heartwood Cohousing Southwest Colorado http://www.heartwoodcohousing.com "Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy." - Guillaume Apollinaire ********************************************************** > On Oct 26, 2024, at 4:28 PM, fernselzer--- via Cohousing-L <cohousing-l [at] > cohousing.org> wrote: > > I am wondering if other cohousing communities charge their owners for using > the guest rooms for personal use.
