Here in Lake Claire CoHousing in Atlanta, two of our original community
members split ownership of one of our 12 units to make it affordable for
each of them. The house itself is the same size as all the other units,
but they had a divider built during construction so that they are two
totally separate living spaces. They split maintenance costs and HOA fees
are somewhat split as well. I don't know all the details, but it must be
working out for them because after almost 30 years (!) both are still here!!

Best,
Sara
