Snopes has revived itself after much adversity in funding as an ad-supported and subscription website. They have a daily newsletter and are planning a forum for people engaged with fact-checking in one way or another. They also mentioned a database of information — not a clear explanation of it yet. https://www.snopes.com/ For example the claim that Trump ordered a change in the name of the Gulf of Mexico. They give the text of the speech, the context, the history of naming, other examples of water with several names — one sea has 5 names depending on which country you are in. What I like about Snopes is that they give the full context — not just true, false, maybe. Reading Snopes is a good way to learn how to evaluate claims.
