Dear Friends and colleagues in cohousing,

My live online six-week class, Sociocracy for Communities, Part One --
Thursday evenings, Sep 4-Oct 9 -- will cover the Sociocracy processes
Proposal Forming, Consent Decision-Making, and Effective, Enjoyable
Meetings. (Times are Pacific, 4:00-630 pm; Eastern, 7:00 -9:30 pm.)

The first topic, Proposal Forming, is a rewarding, participatory,
step-by-step method for co-creating proposals together fairly and
effectively. The way I teach Proposal Forming, it's a highly visual
process in which everyone can see how the proposal is forming . . . as
it's happening. This co-creation  empowers everyone; it helps meet
people's needs for contribution, inclusion, and respect. One or more
Evaluation Questions are always included in the proposal wording.
These are later used by the group to measure and evaluate how
effective and useful the proposal is once it's been implemented.

Past class participants have found Proposal Forming to be fair, clear,
and enjoyable, since everyone has a say in creating the proposal. This
tends to result in clear, thorough, proposals people are willing to
consent to. Past participants have tended to love the Proposal Forming
process.

When communities use Sociocracy they tend to experience four powerful

Class fee: $185-$275 Sliding Scale
Group rate for five or more people from the same group: 20% off the
sliding-scale fee, so $150 to $200 per person.
