Tom - PDX Commons has a "Friends of PDXC" program whereby folks who are in
our Wait pool or past members can share fully in our social life in
exchange with helping us with our regular maintenance chores. This program
was established in part to address the issue of an aging community who has
fewer physically or mentally able members to get our basic self-management
work done. No money is involved, but we do have a "contract" which lays out
the benefits and responsibilities. Lew Bowers
