Hello and greetings from Oakland, CA!

As a UU (Unitarian Universalist) and a community member active in SoFA's
(Sociocracy for All) Intentional Communities and Learning Journey circles, I
was excited to contribute to a this project! Here is more...

Sociocracy for All (SoFA) and Unitarian Universalist leaders have been building
a partnership over the past while - hosting conversations, trainings, and
events together. That work has now grown into two upcoming events, and we'd
love for you to join and help spread the word to your congregation, neighbors,
and networks.

EVENT 2 - Practicing Shared Decision-Making: A Six-Session Facilitator Workshop

Governance as Spiritual Practice

Dates to be announced - we'll follow up with details as soon as they're
confirmed.

Moving from understanding sociocracy to practicing it. This six-session
workshop builds core facilitation skills - running consent-based meetings,
holding rounds, handling objections, and selecting roles and leaders by consent
- while exploring how governance can become part of shared ministry and
anti-oppression work.

Best suited for those with some prior exposure to sociocracy.

More info coming soon - stay tuned via the project page above.

PLEASE SHARE!

Feel free to forward this to your congregation, neighbors, or anyone curious
about consent-based governance. The introductory session is a great entry point
- no experience required.
