Climate Solutions under Attack

In the face of the growing climate crisis, we should be in an
all-hands-on-deck mode. Instead, we find ourselves fighting to defend
so much of the progress weâve already made.

On Wednesday, we joined with NRDC, Sierra Club, ten states, the
District of Columbia, and New York City to file a notice of our intent
to sue the Environmental Protection Agency to force them adhere to the
terms of a 2010 settlement to limit climate pollution from coal-fired
power plants.

In California, we are working to beat back legal threats from the
California Chamber of Commerce and the libertarian Pacific Legal
Foundation against the groundbreaking state limits on climate
pollution.

And in other states, we're fighting back against the
special-interest-sponsored American Legislative Exchange Council
(ALEC), which is pushing state legislation to block renewable energy
policies. One outrageous ALEC-drafted bill would even promote the
teaching of climate denial in our schools.

We've got our hands full beating back these and many other assaults.
We need you to stand with us.

Fighting climate change is our #1 priority. With your support, weâre
making progress. But, we need to beat back these constant assaults.
