For those who want to follow the NOKXL vigil Monday night with more work
against tar sands, here's information about the next MN350 Tar Sands Team
meeting on Thursday. We're focusing on the Alberta Clipper pipeline running
through northern MN, which will carry more tar sands crude than the KXL
pipeline. I plan to attend if my viral infection declines to a dull ache.

The MN350 tar sands team will be meeting this Thursday Feb 6 at 6:30 - 8:30
at IATP, 2104 Stevens Ave S. and you are welcome to join in if you'd
like...If you were at the vigil Monday night, THANK YOU! The turnout was
wonderful. Andy Pearson and I were in Madison Wisconsin at their vigil, and
so missed the Minneapolis one.

Meeting Agenda:

- Check in
- Update of past week events

- Breakout work groups (choose one)
      - orientation to MN350 tar sands group, contested case
      - MN350 visuals for rallies, vigils
       - Outreach (comment solicitations, media work, setting up more
speaking     engagements)
       - starting new MN350 groups in new geographical areas

- Writing Cards for jailed Michigan protestors

And for planning purposes, the next tar sands meeting will be Thursday Feb
20 at the same location.
