Addition to Rob's comments about cost saving possibilities: We at EcoVillage
will be building 30 units, from 2-br, 900 SF to 4 br 1600 SF. All will have
the same kitchens (along with the standard height & spans Rob spoke of).
Duplicating the fixtures/cabinetry, etc. can make purchasing & installation
significantly easier & thus cheaper. Obviously, some units will customize
a bit, but the basics stay the same, or the customizer pays the up-costs.
