"This discussion is confusing me. There seems to be a tendency to lump a whole bunch of socially relevent terms together under the heading of co-housing." ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````"BILL ZAHAVI I am not coming here to flame you, Bill, but to un-confuse you. (Hopefully) Co-housers, IMHO, are the kind of people who *care* about other people, and by extension, the environment, because that is what people live in. It doesn't seem at all strange to me that co-housers would have strong opinions about such matters. Decisions we make today will affect our children and our children's children. What kind of world will they inhabit if we kill off most of the animals with our greedy land use? How will they *afford* homes if we burden the country with too much debt? I think that the kind of people that are attracted to cohousing tend to be people who think about life and what it means more deeply than other people, and that is why you see so much issue-related discussion on the cohousing list. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Diane Simpson from the soon-to-be(hopefully) Boston Cohousing Group
