Buzz inspired me. Here's my version:

Cohousing is a neighborhood designed to balance the needs for privacy and
community. Each house or apartment is self-sufficient and has its own
kitchen, bedrooms, etc. Most cohousing communitees also have shared
facilities including a common house where meals can be shared on a regular
basis. The organizational and, ideally, architectural structure of cohousing
is design to foster trust and social interaction among the residents.
