One idea, which was brought up at the NICA summer communities gathering =
was using the WWW as a source for advertising services and products =
produced by intentional communities. For example, If I need a plumber =
for my project, I could look at the WWW pages and find out that, low and =
behold, a community member in my area has a plumbing business capable of =
doing the work I need. I could then choose to hire and support =
intentional communities. =20

You could broaden the scope of Joels idea and include not just making =
connections for vegetables from a local CSA affiliate but actively =
choosing to spend your dollars to support other local intentional =
community services and products.

How about a community want ads? A cohousing garage sale? Our potential =
to support each others business's is large and in a small way helps us =
to establish the connections and communication networks which can =
accomplish many other things.
