Part of the solution, I think, is to ask them to take part of the
responsibility for how they want to be interacted with (sorry for the bad
English)  At the end of any presentation I use a form like this to get the
most out of the interaction....then we don;t have to spend any time pestering
people...and at the same time we get to maximize the resource that they can
be for us.
