Ours is just a paper system -
People who come to tour sign in on a page in a guest book
loose leaf binder. The person who accompanies them around makes
whatever notes they think appropriate about the prospect's interest
and enthusiasm level. It then gets filed in an A, B, or C section,
depending on what we judge their interest (A=*very* interested)
and our marketing team calls them back during the following week.
If they show continued interest, they get more call backs, etc.
We do invite prospects to our meals and other events.
Sometimes to meetings, but like you, we hesitate about that.
I'm not on the marketing team, so I'm probably missing alot of
detail here.
