Tho I have not followed this thread very closely, Cynthia's comment jogged a thought that may not have been mentioned. There is a reason for the community to put some limits on the design of individual units even if the household planning it pays all extra costs. Namely if at a later date the houshold decides to move, the community/owner may have difficulty / be unable to sell a unit to other buyers who would fit into the community if it is unappealing, expensive etc. In particular if someone wants to build too big / expensive a unit this may pose a future problem. Thus there is a connection to the selection process for new members/buyers (after the initial memebers). Fred -- Fred H.
