Rowena's bylaws attachment was huge and probably unusable by anyone. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //// Please DO NOT Attach files to messages to cohousing-L //// /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Our current listserver does not handle attachments well (or reject them unfortunately). Wordprocessor files tend to be huge for the info they contain. I got several bounces from subscribers due to this 104 K message. Very few people read long messages so why have them sent to everyone? What to do instead. Convert the info to text and include it in the body of a message tho limit the size of messages (anything over 20K is awfully big). Put big files on the web and post a note about them and the URL Post a note about files offer to send them to people who request them.
