My community is one of the very few that have affordable units. I don't need
to generalize it. The numbers speak for themselves. Cohousing is more
expensive than regular housing, period. Don't feel sorry for me. That's
patronizing, and implies that I'm whining because I didn't get what I want.
I am on this list to help, not to ask for pity.

No, it was just getting started *ten years ago*. I had hoped the movement
would be taking a different direction by now, and include far more rental
and moderate income housing, as well as be more environmentally sound. It's
not just an either/or proposition.
