Our BOT (board of trustees) sets the agenda for upcoming meetings.
Committees or individuals ask for time, guestimating the time they'll need,
the facilitator, type of discussion, goal, etc. (we have a good form for
this) and the board sorts it out. If we anticipate a committee asking for
time after the board has met, we leave it up to the facilitator to put the
timing together. Even though we've been here about a year and are not only
dealing with getting systems up and running but some lingering development
issues, we still manage to get almost all requests for time honored pretty
quickly. So far, so good.
