Jasmine, I suggest that you have an experienced cohousing development person, like Jim Leach, Katie McCamant, or myself, come in as an objective appraiser and set prices for you. This is a market driven thing, as you have found, and you do not want to be manipulating the market too much from within your community or you will cause long term bad feelings. Actual bank appraisers will have a hard time doing this for you because they do not have the cohousing experience to know what sells to cohousers.
