Hi all -

When I was at Eno Commons Cohousing in Durham, NC, my two kids (who are
now 8 and 12) stayed home every summer. Between my teleworking a day or
two a week, my husband's retail schedule leaving him two weekdays at home
(he always works weekends in the summer), arrangements with other parents,
and a neighborhood teen hired to run "summer camp" for about 5
neighborhood kids, everything worked out.

We moved to Maryland last summer, but my kids are going back to Eno
Commons for three weeks to share a babysitter "summer camp" arrangement
there. Later in the summer, the Eno Commons teen is coming to us to see
DC while running her summer camp here a couple of weeks.

Can't wait for Eastern Village Cohousing to finish so I can really be back in
cohousing and make shared arrangements year-round!
