...as a fundraiser for the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. A friend of
mine from my daughter's school, Jan Tamayo, lost her son Liam to a brain
tumor when Emma was in Kindergarten. She is participating in a regional
effort to raise money, and I decided since the last time I shaved my head
was over 10 years ago, I'm way overdue.

Hey, I've got no money and I'm humiliating myself in public. You could spare
a few bucks for that.

Again, apologies for the off-topic nature of this. But I promise to email a
picture of me before and after to anyone who wants it. And one could argue
that since I'm doing this for the larger community, it's all related.
