Ann Zabaldo ...

Thanks for the opportunity to discuss these issues with you this morning on the
telephone. It sounds like your work in DC is important and really taking off.
I appreciate that you have had more experience with marketing than with
renting. Also, I appreciate your offer to bring this issue to other Co-Housing
people in your region.

Specifically, I am seeking useful replies regarding these issues:

1.) Formal Rental Agreement that establishes terms (rights and obligations)
and conditions (expectations and limitations) for both the renter and the owner;

2.) Formal Policy Statements from the Homeowner Association regarding the
Rental of facilities owned by homeowners (e.g., what limitations does the HOA
place on the homeowner in advertising and entering into rental agreements?).

3.) Formal sets of procedures that processes rental advertising, what official
body administers the rental process, how differences and conflicts are settled,
etc....

Please feel free to include my contact data so that respondents do not have to
use you as an intermediary.

Thanks very much.

- Dan Fallon

P.S.:  I am cc'ing this to the L-Cohousing list
