Hi -- Ulster County Coho here. We have some members who will be weekenders in our co-housing community until they are ready to retire and leave NYC for good. We're wondering how other communities handle the work and/or maintenance fees for people who do not reside in the community full time. Also, we have some members who currently live about 2 hours away (our community has not been built yet) and they have a difficult time attending meetings. They would like to receive an agenda in advance of the meetings, so they can give their input, objections, or consent before the meeting. Unfortunately our agenda is usually not together until the actual day of the meeting -- sometimes just hours before. What do you do about long-distance members' participation in discussion and decision-making when they cannot make meetings? Thanks for your help. Perri
