We have bulletin boards right next to our mailboxes outside and next to the
other entrance to the common house. You can't go in or get mail without
seeing them. And the bulletin boards are a less visually messy way to deal
with short-term notices than taping them to the doors. This is also the
place where we post the dinner menus. Of course, then you have to have
someone take down old messages, which we do.
