My name is Arthur Okner of Nomad Cohousing in Boulder CO. I would like
to take a moment to comment on the recent AARP article which featured
cohousing and specifically cohousing for older adults (If you haven't
read iot you can do so at
http://www.aarp.org/bulletin/yourlife/Articles/a2004-11-04-communes.html

[It can also be read in the cohousing-L message:

I feel it is important for all of you to know what it took to get that
article into the AARP Bulletin which reaches about 35 million (you heard
it right millions not thousands) people over the age of 50.

In the cohousing movement at Nomad there is a couple by the name of Zev
and Neshama Paiss who are the Principals of Abraham Paiss & Associate a
company that has worked with over 25 neighborhoods around the country
providing public relations and customized consulting services to them.

In order to get this article successfully printed they; worked
tirelessly with the author since mid-July by phone, e-mail and in
person. They personally took him on a day-long tour of local cohousing
communities in CO, interviewed with him for hours pointing him in the
direction of other leaders in the cohousing movement.

I wrote this lest the Cohousers who read this article think that an
article is just an article. It takes a lot of work to produce an
intelligent article without the major mistakes that can send a negative
message to readers.

Thanks for listening, Arthur
