One thing I have noticed - is that I don't really learn from shaming and blaming, whether it is a coho consequence or something else. We have gotten better in our community at always trying the neutral, one-on-one conversation as a first action in seeking a change. This has worked so many times!! And has avoided the need for group-level "consequences." But there is a chronic issue that we haven't solved in our community, we shall call it [to maintain confidentiality] the messies vs. the cleanies, and really, I just don't know what we can do about it. If we were a standard condominium, the board would assess a fee and clean "it" up. Since I fall in the "cleanies" camp, I just nurture a daily resentment. I'm pretty stuck right there. Further ideas?
