RoseWind Cohousing (http://www.rosewind.org) has a resale available. We are
a built community in Port Townsend Washington, on the northeast corner of
the Olympic Peninsula. The town of 8000 is rather like a college town minus
the college: lots of arts, political activism, local celebrations, farmers
market, Food Co-op, good films, plus the Victorian architecture and all the
waterfront aspects. All of Port Townsend is convenient to RoseWind's 9
acres. Seattle is about 2.5-3 hours away, via country roads and ferry boat.
Great weather, too, with only about 17 inches of rain a year (like San
Francisco!). Right now it's green green green and full of flowers and
sunshine.
The house available is located on the southern edge of the central commons,
close to the common house. It's a 2002 Goldwent "double-wide" of
approximately 1500 sq ft. It includes three bedrooms and two full baths,
and a covered front porch running the full width of the building. The lot is
50x100, oriented north-south, with a marvelous view of the commons. The
location would be especially nice for anyone with kids, as it's right on the
central field, near other families with children, and in sight of our
playground structure. Asking price is $195,000. Pictures and further
details are available on our web site at http://www.rosewind.org
