What is Cohousing?

Cohousing is a type of collaborative housing in which residents actively
participate in the design and operation of their own neighborhoods.

Cohousing residents are consciously committed to living as a community.
The physical design encourages both social contact and individual space.
Private homes contain all the features of conventional homes, but
residents also have access to common facilities such as open space,
courtyards, a playground/playroom and common rooms. Though cohousing is a
sharing and inviting environment it is not a commune.
For more information visit: http://www.cohousing.org.

Imagine a Residence Where You Can:

o Own your own private apartment with the plus of shared resources
(Garden, Gym, Guest Room, Work Studio, Playroom, ETC.)

o Really get to know your neighbors

o Take the stairs, not the subway or car, to see your friends

o Let your children run free, schedule fewer play dates & feel secure
  within a community

o Cope with a rocketing unrealistic real estate market

o Shrink the size of your footprint on the earth

o Be part of a neighborhood

Hope to see you soon!
