Hi folks!

I'm trying to put together some arguments as to why my local council
(Brisbane, Australia) should be interested in and supportive of
cohousing. We do not yet have any cohousing communities in this city, or
even our state (Queensland) but there are plenty of people who are
keen.

The general statements that I've read about the benefits of cohousing.
However, I need some traditional evidence to back this up. Does anyone
have details of statistics or awards received in the areas of:
community safety
health
design
environment and sustainability
social capital
economics
...any other area I've forgotten

Many thanks and warm regards,
