Hello all! Here is a great chance to get all your questions answered about how to build a cohousing community -- whether or not you went on the Washington, DC area bus tour the day before.
Mid Atlantic Cohousing (MAC) invites you to a FREE Q&A session Sunday, May 20th, 10am to noon in the Common House at Eastern Village, in Silver Spring, MD. It will be hosted by Cohousing Collaborative, LLC.
In the two hour session we will discuss what the tour participants saw the day before and answer ANY questions you have -- whether or not you have been on a tour -- about the different types of cohousing development models as well as about living in cohousing. Additionally, there will be a short slide show and presentation on what it takes to organize and build a cohousing community ... and, of course, Q&A for that, too!
This follow up session will give you a chance to put into context the many different cohousing community models in use, learn more about the decision making and governance structures of various communities, network with each other and to talk to professionals in the cohousing field.
Representatives from all the MAC communities have been invited to attend the session to answer specific questions about their respective coho neighborhoods.
Although this workshop is provided without charge you must sign up in advance. (For bus tour folks, it is a separate sign up from the bus tour registration.) If you would like to attend please call or email Ann at: 202 291 7892 Ann.Zabaldo [at] cohousingcollaborative.com
We invite cohos interested in building a cohousing community to attend this session. Light continental breakfast included!!
Note: limited space so sign up soon! Martie Weatherly Liberty Village Cohousing for Mid Atlantic Cohousing martiew [at] earthlink.net Ann Zabaldo Takoma Village Cohousing for Cohousing Collaborative, LLC --end--
