practices of contractors, and builders. As an owner builder you will 
want a safe, durable house for all your efforts. The comments 
submitted below are listed by state, by individual. Each gave 
information to the best of their knowledge. Only a few counties are 
listed in each state. In addition there are comments here on the 
costs of permits. This will give you an overview of expected expenses 
in some areas.
