If you can wield a shovel, Takoma Village Cohousing (6827 4th St. NW in D.C.)

invites you to participate on a tree planting team on Saturday, November 10,

from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Casey Trees has awarded Takoma Village and our

neighbors nearly 20 trees and will provide tools and technical know-how to plant

the trees as part of their mission to restore the tree canopy of the nation?s

capital. Come early for morning bagels and stay after for lunch. For more
