Takoma Village Cohousing in Washington, DC (home of famous cohousers Ann Zabaldo and Sharon Villines) is participating in an innovative initiative to make our nation's capital a bit "greener." Join a Tree-Planting Team on Sat., Nov. 10 If you can wield a shovel, Takoma Village Cohousing (6827 4th St. NW in D.C.) invites you to participate on a tree planting team on Saturday, November 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Casey Trees has awarded Takoma Village and our neighbors nearly 20 trees and will provide tools and technical know-how to plant the trees as part of their mission to restore the tree canopy of the nation?s capital.
