Oak Creek Commons has about 4,000 sq feet for 36 homes. We have about 50+
adults and 20 kids.
The common house has a great room and kitchen which are adequate but none too
big if you
occasionally prepare a meal for 50 or so. We have a small library where a group
of up to 10 can
sit. Most of our committee meetings are held there. There is a kid's playroom,
2 guest rooms, 2
bathrooms and a shower, a laundry room with 3 washers and driers, and a little
parlor. It would
seem that 2,500 sq ft would be very small.

Subject: [C-L]_ Very quick question

Hi All,

We have a very quick question with an answer needed urgently (by
Sunday a.m.):

we have a developer who is suggesting a 2500 sq ft common house for 34
families.

This seems small to me, and we could really use your quick estimate of
the sq ft of your common house and how many households it serves. We
could then come up with sq ft/household and see if our developer's
figures make sense. .

Sorry about the urgency: we have a landowner who wants an offer by
Monday, and a pro forma from the developer sent to us today that has
us asking lots of questions.

many thanks,

Tom Hammer
