Hi Tom - Roberts Creek Cohousing has 31 units - approx 50 adults and 20 ish kids. Our Common House is 2,837 sq. ft. according to the specs I have on hand and it is quite small for us. We have a fairly large dining area and kitchen (but the space is stretched if we have more than 40 or so for dinner), 2 bathrooms, small office, kids room, multipurpose room, guest suite, laundry room and a lounge off the dining room. Most of our committee meetings happen in the lounge. If people come in and out or there are kids playing in the kids room, it is difficult to hold a meeting. There is also a long wide hall which seems to be largely wasted space. I would say 2500 sq ft would be too small for your needs.
