Hello all!

A short note to let you know about TWO great "Meet Ups" this August in  
the Washington, DC area!

The first is a potluck, tour and talk on Boomer Housing a.k.a. "Aging  
in Community" at an award winning cohousing community in NW  
Washington, DC, on Sunday, August 9, 5:30-8:30 p.m.  Raines Cohen,  
contributing author to AUDACIOUS AGING is the guest speaker.

The tour of four homes starts at 5:30, the potluck dinner is a 6:30  
(please bring a potluck for the number of people in your party plus  
6-8 more to share.  Main dishes and vegan/vegetarian food gratefully  
appreciated.)  There is a $5.00 fee to defray expenses of the guest  
speaker and the hosting community in addition to the potluck dish.

Tour yet ANOTHER award winning cohousing community in Silver Spring,  
MD on Sat. Aug. 22nd beginning at 10:30 a.m.  This tour will focus on  
the green and sustainable features of the community -- it's a LEED  
certified building so the green and sustainable features are MANY!
