(1) Free Day-long Workshop featuring top Cohousing Professionals at
Moore College of Art & Design (Pennsylvania, PA)

http://www.moore.edu/event_calendar/250

The Cohousing Symposia will cover the concepts and practicalities of
cohousing in the United States and features Charles Durrett, architect
and author of the seminal text on cohousing, as the keynote speaker.
Other leaders in the field Tom Bath, Laura Fitch, Scott Kelly, Jackie
O’Neil, and Donald E. Tucker will each discuss specific components and
aspects of cohousing communities. The afternoon will be divided into
two sessions of afternoon workshops with the speakers expanding upon
the morning presentations.

(2) $95 Coho/US Bus Tour (Boulder, CO)

Previously described on Coho-L, but check out the new group discounts
which offer an amazing way to help a group make decisions about their
project - or - to learn about what other cohousing communities do now
to help their community thrive.

(3) Free Day-long NICA Gathering (Lynnwood, WA)

Note: NICA is the "Northwest Intentional Communities Association" and
its scope is broader than Cohousing, although many of its participants
over the years have been cohousers.

Here are some questions to prime the pump for the NICA Fall Gathering,
to be hosted by the Ananda Community in Lynwood, WA:

What are the spoken or unspoken values that guide your relationships
and your decision-making processes?
What gives your community strength?
How does your community wrestle with a culture that is built on spirit
even if you don’t call it that?
How do people in your community feed their soul?
Do you have a specific ritual life?
What are your community traditions and what do they mean to you?
How do you celebrate?
