I agree, the exclusiveness is a problem. I could see an interest group like an international food or a foreign language practice group using the commonhouse for meals, but these could be open to other community members who wanted to try them out. Why are other community members excluded? What is their rationale for exclusion (or the bring your own food rule?)? That could have a negative effect on the community as a whole.
