Below is a summary of eight Intentional Communities events:

(1) Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC) 25th anniversary celebration
in Chapel Hill, NC April 20-21st. For more information, check www.ic.org.

(2) Communities conference at The Farm, Summertown, TN, May 25-27th. Get
information and inspiration about community living and cooperation. Contact

(3) National Cohousing conference, Oakland, CA, June 13-17th. Weekend
packed with workshops, speakers, mixers, auction, etc. More info at

(4) Annual Conference at Twin Oaks, Louisa, Virginia, August 17-19st, 2011.
This is a camping conference in a wooded conference site at Twin Oaks.
Workshops, discussions, bonfires, swimming, dancing, auction, etc. Info

(5) FIC Art of Community 3 day conference at Westminster Woods, in the
beautiful redwoods north of San Francisco. Sept. 21st-23rd, 2012,
Occidental, CA. Join us for a weekend focused on "People, Place, and

(7) Annual Conference of the Communal Studies Association. This year's
conference is at the Oneida Mansion House in Oneida, NY. Oct. 4-6th.
Participants include academics, contemporary communitarians, historic site
directors, descendents of communitarians, and other interested people. Info

(8) NASCO Institute, Ann Arbor, MI, Nov. 2nd-4th, hosted by the North
American Students of Cooperation. Mostly student coopers and others who
choose to continue the lifestyle after college. Workshops, parties,
