Cobb Hill Cohousing in Hartland VT has a CSA Farm on community land. The farmers are community members who own a home here. The community shares the land used for growing vegetables and for grazing their herd of jersey cows at no cost to the farmers. Barns (old ones which were here when the land was purchased) are maintained by the community). Expenses such as barn electricity are shared by the CSA/Dairy farmers and by other agricultural enterprises at Cobb Hill which use barn space for some animals (e.g. sheep in winter) and storage.
