RoseWind Cohousing, Port Townsend WA (long-built) allows any home business 
allowed by our town's home-occupation ordinances. We have singling lessons, 
home-office based work, have had Pilates therapy. 

A ban on garage sales?! That surprised me. Yard sales are part of our town's 
regular culture. We have sales at individual homes, and have had group sales on 
the common house porch and parking lot.
