Hi, Kay,

thank you--quite a list of sounds.
I missed understanding what it means, having an infraction. Once there is an
infraction, then what? ?Consequence?

About CommonHouse events, I see that your note is focused on noise, Please
post info on clean-up/fees.

many thanks,
Ruth

When I checked our noise requirements, I was surprised that
they are pretty piecemeal. Here FWIW is what we have.

PETS. After a long struggle to develop our own pet rules, we
decided to include our county animal regulations verbatim.
They include:

Infractions: Animal Noise: For any person(s) to own
any animal which by its barking, howling, baying, squealing,
crowing, crying, bleating, screeching, or making any other
noise by its volume or frequency unreasonably disturbs or
interferes with the peace of any person(s) for more than
fifteen minutes in any one-hour period of any day, and is
documented by three or more separate episodes of such noise
in a sequential seven-day period. The burden is upon the
owner of such animal(s) to maintain quiet.. [KCC 7.14.030
Infractions (3)]

KIDS RULES.
They include:

Be Courteous During Meals: ... Create a quiet dining
atmosphere free from running, yelling, piano and TV noise.

FACILITY USE.
We have a Facilities Use Agreement which we use for private
events in our common house. This one addresses noise:

Facilities Cleanup . When leaving, please be
respectful of neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum.

MODEL LEASE AGREEMENT:
Since we have some resident-owned rental units, we have a
model lease, which most of our landlords use. It includes
this noise provision:

Tenant's family and guests shall at all times
maintain order in the Premises and at all places on the
Premises, and shall not make or permit any loud or improper
noises, or otherwise disturb other residents;

(I have posted our home businesses requirements
separately).
