Fred, yes to all! "Senior friendly cohousing" is a generic term that
includes age-restricted senior cohousing alongside intergenerational
communities that support "successful aging" of its members.

On this list serve, there have been robust conversations about
incorporating aging in community practices within cohousing, be it senior
cohousing or intergenerational. To your question about financial
implications, yes of course, all dependent on the level of investment.
Being senior-friendly can begin simply with little out of pocket investment
as celebrating aging, proactively engaging seniors in contributing their
talents to community operations, and having a care and support program.

Part of the impetus of this conference is to identify and share successful
aging practices within our communities, driven by growing concerns with
aging in community issues.
