Hi- At Eastern Village, we have something like the concierge system, but we call the people responsible for each room "stewards". The kitchen usually has two stewards and most other rooms have one. Stewards are responsible for making their room homey and usable for the purpose the group chose for it. They can and do call on other folks to help from time to time. They can call for donations and decide whether to take them. -Jessie Handforth Kome Eastern Village Cohousing "Where the kids decorated our common house TV with stickers and glitter and glued on rhinestones in hopes that would prevent theft. It looks very pretty." >
